Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the AnyDub Chrome extension ("Service") operated by AnyDub ("we", "us", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
AnyDub is a Chrome browser extension that captures audio from browser tabs and provides real-time translation using Google's Gemini AI API. The Service requires an internet connection and a Google account for authentication.
3. Accounts and Authentication
You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- The Service offers a free trial period with limited usage.
- After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to request a refund.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Gemini API credentials from the Service.
- Circumvent usage limits or billing systems.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AnyDub and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The translated audio output is generated by Google Gemini and is subject to Google's terms.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including:
- Google Gemini: AI translation engine
- Supabase: Authentication and database
- Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing
- Cloudflare: Infrastructure
- Meta (Facebook): Marketing analytics, conversion tracking, and ad optimization
We are not responsible for the availability or actions of these third-party services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Translation accuracy depends on Google Gemini and may vary. We do not guarantee that translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnyDub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
