This Privacy Policy describes how AnyDub ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the AnyDub Chrome extension and related website ("Service"). We take your privacy seriously and only collect what is necessary to operate the Service.
1. Information We Collect

Audio data: AnyDub captures tab audio only after you start translation. Audio is streamed to Google Gemini to provide real-time translation, dubbing, subtitles, and speech output. We do not store, record, sell, or use the audio you translate for advertising.
Local video files: When you use the local-video feature, the video file stays on your device and is not uploaded by AnyDub. Only the audio needed for translation is processed.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
- To provide real-time translation, dubbing, subtitles, text reading, and speech generation.
- To track free trial usage and enforce plan limits.
- To process subscription payments via Lemon Squeezy.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on the following third parties, each with their own privacy policies:

4. Google API Limited Use
AnyDub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data Storage and Retention
- Your account data (email, user ID, usage) is stored in Supabase and retained for as long as your account is active.
- Extension settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's
storage.localAPI. - Upon account deletion, your personal data is deleted from our systems within 30 days.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
The extension stores your authentication session and settings in Chrome's local storage. No third-party cookies or tracking pixels are used within the extension.
The landing page (anydub.pro) uses necessary browser storage to remember your language preference, account/login state, billing flow state, and privacy choice. These items are required for the site to work and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner.
Optional analytics and marketing storage are disabled unless you consent through the cookie banner. If enabled in the future, analytics will be used only to understand aggregate site usage and performance, and marketing storage will be used only for campaign measurement and attribution.
Your cookie preference is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting "Cookie preferences" in the site footer.
The landing page may log standard server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for a limited period as part of Cloudflare's infrastructure.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.

8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
